Ainslark

Terry and Dorothy Clark have spent thirty-two years at Ainslark, Lt. Thurlow Green. They have brought up their family of one son and four daughters here, who all attended the village school. The children have all moved on and Terry and Dorothy have now retired. They are both keen gardeners. Dorothy also likes photography, music and listening to stories on cassette. Terry is a stamp collector, likes reading, playing carpet bowls and is very involved with the bowls club, both playing and working on the bowls green at the sports ground. He is a parish councillor and secretary of the village hall committee. Dorothy is the chairman and they have seen the extension to the hall completed and have many plans for its future.

They have seen no changes in the immediate area and say they have made many friends in their, as they say, thirty-two happy years.
