Ivan and Lea Potter with their boys have only lived at Sanguine for three months. Ivan is a Haverhill man who works as a quality control inspector at Titon Hardware Ltd. Alex and Adam were born in Germany and they attend Chalkstone Middle School in Haverhill. Lea, who was born in Dulwich, works part-time at Peacocks clothing store as a supervisor.

She has had poetry published (under the title 'Poetry in Motion') and is chairperson of the voluntary organisation, Suffolk Help for Attention Deficit Disorder. The family's leisure time is spent walking, cycling and enjoying motor-cross.
