John and Ann Tipper came to Larkspur Cottage two years ago mainly because they wanted a thatched cottage set in attractive countryside. They describe the village as 'locked in the past' in the nicest possible way. They received a great welcome and were soon involved in village aVairs, John becoming chairman of the Thurlow Fayre committee and Ann joining Thurlow W.I. Their main leisure interests are boating and caravanning.

Since arriving they have seen the new house built in The Square and the village hall extended.
