Jane
Stubbington has lived
in Lt. Thurlow for
ten years, the latter
part dwelling at 123a,
The Street. She is
a mature student in
Cambridge and moved
here with her husband
who was chef at Lt.
Thurlow Hall. When
they separated she
moved to her present
address with her daughter
Lucy who goes to Linton
Village College, and
son Martin, who is
at Parkway Middle
School in Haverhill.
Her
leisure pursuits are
walking, reading,
television, music
and gardening. Jane
likes the quiet small
community, friendly
atmosphere, open spaces
with lots of wild
life. Both children
attended the small
village school.
Negative
aspects are the lack
of amenities, entertainment
and public transport.
Changes she has seen
are farm buildings
being sold and replaced
by too many modern
houses.
